PbmsTools software which everyone uses to modify Pace bms doesn''t seem to have any hidden settings. No you can not use the JK RS485 module to communicate with the inverter, the JK-BMS uses its own serial protocol that is not compatible with any inverters directly, hence the need for an Interface board, it converts the JK-BMS prioterly serial protocol to the Pylon/Goodwe CAN bus protocol.
